As part of our ongoing efforts to make Tempo the most effective route management tool for your business, we are adding a multi-part feature called Auto-Activation.
With Auto-Activation enabled, you can be certain that your jukeboxes are on and available at the start of each day, and you will be notified if that status changes in real-time to make sure they remain available! This will help you maximize uptime and revenues on your route.
First, in order to enable this feature, you first need to enter the Business Hours in the Location > Info section:
Next, you have to enable the this setting in the Location > Settings > Jukebox > Hardware section. Once set to "During Open Hours", TouchTunes will schedule a command to automatically activate your jukebox when the venue opens for business, daily. We will power on the jukebox if it is powered off (in night mode) or unpause it if it is paused when your venue opens for business daily.
Don't worry, we will set the volume to the minimum setting per zone, as not to startle the cleaning crew / morning staff!
In addition, we will perform this same action during any reboots that occur during designated business hours when the "During Open Hours" parameter is set.
Finally, we have added a new diagnostic alert to let you know when your jukebox has been in an unavailable state (powered off and/or paused) for a selectable duration of time. This alert gives you the opportunity to maximize revenues by unpausing or turning it back on remotely from Tempo, or calling the venue to find out if there is a technical issue causing them to disable it.
You can set your threshold in the Location > Settings > Jukebox > Threshold section:
The new alerts will appear in the Home > Alerts and Location > Alerts sections. If you are set up to receive alerts via email in the Account > Alerts section, you will also receive an email when this occurs! Be sure that the alert is set to Instantly for this setting.
Auto-Activation is available on all OS2 jukeboxes and most G3 & G3+ (Unsupported models are Rhapsody, Genesis and some CD & Digital conversion kits).
