To ensure that an installation at a new location goes smoothly, it is a good idea to prepare for the move in Tempo by performing the following steps ahead of time in the Location section.  If you have not already created the new location, go to #1.  If you have already created the new location, go to #2. NEVER 'EDIT' THE NAME / ADDRESS OF A LOCATION THAT IS MOVING VENUES, AS YOU WILL LOSE ALL HISTORICAL DATA ON THE OLD LOCATION AND MAKE THE REPORTING ON THE NEW LOCATION INACCURATE. ALWAYS MOVE IT, NEVER EDIT IT. EDITING IS RESERVED FOR NAME CHANGES (I.E. OWNER CHANGED SO BAR CHANGED FROM JOE'S LOUNGE TO MIKES' PUB).

#1:  If the new location doesn't already exist, you will have to create it by clicking on the Location section from the main menu bar, then clicking on the blue +Add button next to the search box.  Fill in the information about the new location and save.  Note: It is very important to include a valid and correct address here, as this will allow the TouchTunes Mobile App to communicate with the jukebox.
Once you click CREATE, you will be presented with a confirmation screen offering the ability to Assign a jukebox to this location.  If you click that link, you will come to the Assign Jukebox page.  Highlight the juke you want to move/assign to this new location and click Assign.  Hit OK in the pop-up and you will be redirected to the location's summary page. Proceed to step #3.

#2. If your new location is already in Tempo, in the Location section, select the jukebox you want to move to the new location.  Go to Locations > Technical > Hardware, and you will see a Move button below software.  This will take you to the Move Jukebox page, where you can find the destination location. Once you complete this process, the jukebox will appear in the new location.
#3. Once you have moved the jukebox in Tempo, you should be sure to adjust all of your settings according to the needs of the new location under the Locations > Settings and Music sections. This includes:

  • Money settings (credit rules, bookkeeping splits, etc.)
  • Jukebox settings(call in window, light show color, etc.)
  • Alert settings (enable/disable technical alerts)
  • Music filters
  • Music settings(music profile, Background/CMP, etc.)
