While we continue investing in infrastructure upgrades to maintain the highest industry standards for jukebox and mobile network availability, we recognize that outages may still occur. TouchTunes is launching a new SMS messaging service to alert you in the event of a major TouchTunes network disruption that may impact your route and locations. These alerts will also keep you updated on resolution status. 
 
How do I sign up? 
You can sign up to receive SMS alerts by filling out the form at https://www.touchtunes.com/operatorsms You must enter your unique TouchTunes Operator/ Account ID number during registration, which can be found in Tempo > Account > Profile > Corporate Profile > Account ID
 
I have already signed up; how can I add someone else? 
To register additional employees for SMS alerts, please email them the sign-up link https://www.touchtunes.com/operatorsms and inform them of your TouchTunes Operator/ Account ID number, which is required to complete the sign-up process. Each employee who wants to receive SMS alerts must sign up individually and agree to the terms & conditions. 
 
Who can sign up for SMS Alerts? 
Ideally, anyone you feel should be “in the know” of a network outage can sign up. We highly recommend all owners, managers and service technicians at minimum. You can sign up additional staff and opt out at any time. 
 
What if I or my employee enters the wrong OP ID # or mobile phone number on the sign-up form? 
If the wrong Operator/ Account ID number is entered on the sign-up form, please contact your sales rep directly with the correct number, and our team will be happy to fix the error.

How many messages will I receive? 
Since this service is being launched as a notification system for major outages only, we do not expect you to receive many messages at all!  During a network disruption, you can expect an initial text message with details of the issue and a subsequent text message letting you know when the issue has been resolved.  In the unlikely event that we have a prolonged outage, we may send periodic follow-up texts to keep you posted on resolution status.  
 
Will you alert me of power outages, internet outages or cellular communications outages in my region?  
No, regional/local outages are not currently supported for this service. You will only be alerted for major TouchTunes jukebox, mobile or Tempo network outages. We may add additional location-based alert options in the future.  
 
What if I want to stop receiving TouchTunes SMS Alerts? 
Simply reply with “STOP” and you will no longer receive messages from us.   
 
What if I want to resume SMS Alerts? 
As long as you originally opted in to the program, simply text “UNSTOP” to 866-884-3570, and you will be opted in again to begin receiving outage text alerts. Please note that this number is not monitored for replies and is not intended for 2-way dialog. Signing up on the opt-in form again will not opt you back in once you have unsubscribed.  
 
Will I get marketing/spam messages if I sign up? 
No.  Our recipient list is not shared with any third party. You will only be signing up for major TouchTunes network outage alerts. 
  
Do I get charged for these messages? 
Standard text messaging fees apply based on your cell phone plan.  Contact your cell carrier for details. There is no direct charge from TouchTunes for this service.
  
Can I use this service to send text messages to Techline? 
No. At this time, this capability is intended for 1-way notification only. You can contact support through Tempo > Help > Contact TouchTunes
  
What if I have questions after receiving a text notice? 
Simply call Techline at 888-338-5853 or 847-419-3300 and they will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
