Introducing the Availability Tab: Diagnose jukebox connectivity issues with ease

Jukebox connectivity issues can quickly impact the patron experience, so we’re excited to introduce the new Availability Tab in your Tempo Reports, designed to help you assess and resolve issues faster than ever.

In this update, we’ve also enhanced Jukebox Remote Controls, made important updates to Billing, and have improved Laptop and desktop navigation.

The new Availability Tab

In July, we launched the Availability Report with the goal of improving visibility into jukebox connectivity. Now, we’re streamlining that experience even further with the Availability Tab—a simplified view that consolidates content from four separate pages. This makes it easier for technicians to quickly identify connectivity issues.

To access the Availability Tab, click on any jukebox row in the Availability Report. The panel will display all the essential details you need in one place.

Improved Jukebox Remote Tools

We’ve made it easier to manage your jukebox remotely. Previously, you had to navigate through multiple pages to change a jukebox’s status. Now, you can do it directly from the top of the jukebox panel by clicking the status button. When updating the status, you will notice that the options available are contextual to the status of the jukebox.

Additionally, you’ll no longer need to refresh the page to see changes.

  1. After sending the command, you will see a confirmation that it has been successfully sent to the jukebox.
  2. Once status update is complete, it will automatically update in the table and the panel.

Update to Billing

We’ve relocated Billing to the Report section for easier access, alongside other relevant reports like Route, Revenue, and Plays.

We’ve also revamped the Billing report itself. Previously, documents were split across multiple categories, requiring you to check each page individually. Now, all documents will appear on a single page, sorted by creation date, with filter options available to view specific types. You can click anywhere in a row to access the PDF version of documents.

Additionally, we’ve modernized the date picker, defaulting to view documents from the last 90 days. You can easily adjust the date range using the updated picker for more precise control.

Laptop and desktop navigation

In this small update, the navigation will now be collapsed by default, expanding only on mouse-over. This modernized experience offers a sleeker, more efficient way to access reports without compromising usability. This update will improve operators experience, especially when viewing reports.
